Medi-Girls visited Oasis - A Haven for Women and Children in Paterson, NJ
to lead a session on women's mental health and how stress can affect overall
well-being. We discussed the importance of self-care, emotional support, and
healthy ways to manage stress.
After the session, we shared stress balls and brain-boosting puzzles with the
children to encourage relaxation, focus, and positive engagement.

YMCA Preschool- Paterson






Medi-Girls visited the YMCA Preschool in Paterson to lead a session
on emotional expression for young children. The children learned about
feelings such as sadness, anger, and joy through simple discussion and
activities. Medi-Girls also donated used clothing and distributed our
brochures.

Medi-Girls visited Oasis - Women and Children's shelter to present a
workship on women's nutrition and ultra-processed foods. Participants
learned about the health effects of highly processed foods, how to make
healthier dietary choices, and practical nutrition strategies for everyday
life. The session aimed to promote healthy habits and empower women
to take an active role in their well-being.
Medi-Girls also donated art supplies and gently used clothing to support
the shelter.

Medi-Girls hosted an outreach session for middle school girls focused
on Issue 2: Ultra-Processed Foods (UPF). The girls learned what UPF are,
how they can affect health, and simple ways to make healthier food
choices in their daily lives.

MediGirls has donated gently used clothing, art supplies, and educational materials to local organizations, including Oasis and the YMCA in Paterson. We also prepared individual goodie bags for girls, filled with brain-shaped stress balls, pens, mini dry-erase boards, puzzles, stamps, and other small items to encourage creativity, learning, and well-being.
