ANNA LEE

Every girl deserves to understand her body, express her emotions, and feel confident asking for help. Yet many girls lack access to health information that is clear, relatable, and appropriate for their age.Medi-Girls brings health education directly into communities through hands-on workshops, youth-friendly materials, and meaningful conversations. By making health topics easier to understand and less intimidating, we help girls feel informed, supported, and empowered.

Medi-Girls Initiatives
Outreach

Our workshops for young women are hosted to explain important health information, spread awareness, and provide a safe space for them to ask questions. From mental health workshops at
Oasis and wellness activities at the YMCA of Paterson to nutrition lessons for younger students and outreach in Guatemala,
Medi-Girls brings age-appropriate health education directly into the community.
Distribute

Through the creation of brochures, Medi-Girls aims to disseminate health information. These brochures are distributed to libraries, classrooms, women's shelters, doctors' offices,
Guatemala and community centers.
Service

At Guatemala, Medi-Girls took part in medical outreach clinics serving nearly 300 patients a day. We helped with patient intake, observed doctors as they examined patients, supported the distribution of medicine and supplies, and assisted women, children, and families throughout the clinic.
Project

Through issue-based projects, Medi-Girls explores different areas of young women’s health, from nutrition and mental wellness to body awareness and everyday health concerns. Each issue is designed to make important health information more accessible and understandable for girls and young women
Donate

Medi-Girls aims to support young girls and mothers through donations of art supplies, clothing, and personal care products. We have partnered with and visited organizations such as Oasis: A Haven for Women and Children, the YMCA of Paterson, and others.
Voices

A space for conversations that inspire. Through interviews and shared
stories from healthcare professionals and students, Voices explores
medicine, leadership, and the experiences shaping the next generation of women in healthcare.
We're building a world where every girl
has the health, knowledge, and opportunity to lead.
